What does an industrial cooling company do?

What is industrial cooling?

Industrial cooling consists of mechanically producing the ideal temperature conditions for the preservation of different products. It can be positive temperatures, normally between 0º and 5º, or negative below 0º. It is important to highlight that the cold is not generated, the heat is removed from an element to be able to lower its temperature. In other words, it transports heat from one point (that we call the centre) to another point which has a higher temperature; but to be able to do this, a certain amount of energy is required.

What does an industrial cooling company do?

An industrial cooling company works in the following way: The products, machines, materials, technology for each cooling system are on the market for all companies. Each system requires a specific combination of these elements for its correct working, to be as energy efficient as possible, to adjust its costs, etc. Once all of this is assessed by the technical department, along with the engineering department, who prepares the best “recipe” possible for each need. This process resembles those used for example in a kitchen, the products are there for everyone, then the chef’s knowledge and good work produce the best dish possible. In our case, in addition this “dish” is according to the needs of each project.

Where do we find industrial cooling?

Mainly in the food and restaurant industry. Where food has to be preserved at positive/negative temperatures or deep-frozen. For this, we use cool stores, tunnel freezers, refrigerated display cabinets, all types of refrigerated cabinets and tables, workshops where products are made, etc. Industrial cooling has resulted in huge benefits in the preservation of foods, since it reduces the speed of decomposition of the organic matter which makes its preservation possible while it is stored and distributed.
